Chapter 1

The Word and the Flesh

Communication is the process of one individual sharing informatino and ideas with another.

Words are currency in exchange for access, knowledge and connection.

God chose to communicate with us through his word.

Scripture is the constitution of the covenant between God and his people.

Just as God’s words are intertwined with his covenant with you, so our yours with your wife.

How we speak, tone, body language, how we listen and timing of our responses matter.

God charges men as husbands to die to self. It is our responsibility to create the environment and in which you and your wife communicate.

Your words can build up or tear down.

Your words can increase faith or leverage fear.

Your words can be filled with grace or dripping with gall.

Speak as Jesus speaks.
