This comes from a deep need and desire to grow as a communicator. My historic trend of ignoring or pushing away difficult conversations as well as despising being uncomfortable have led to letdowns and hurt of the ones I love the most. In my journey to know God and have a personal relationship with him I even struggle communicating regularly and honestly. Humility is needed and learning how to approach the uncomfortable is necessary to grow as a Christian, husband, father and friend.
